Comprehensive home warranty coverage tailored to the systems that keep a household running—efficient, reliable, and clearly described in your contract.

EnsaGuard does not send a generalist to guess at every trade. We authorize qualified technicians for the covered system that failed, then contribute toward the approved repair or replacement.

Heating and cooling components listed on your plan.

Interior water, drain, and listed fixtures.

Panels, wiring, switches, and covered fixtures.

Major appliances that fail from normal wear.

Tank and tankless units named in the contract.

Optional rider on Premier plans.
Heating and cooling are among the costliest systems in a home. EnsaGuard HVAC coverage is designed for mechanical failures of listed components such as condenser coils, compressors (when specified), blower motors, gas valves, igniters, and thermostats that are part of the primary unit serving the dwelling.
Coverage typically applies when a system that was in working order at the start of the plan stops performing its designed function because of wear. Routine filter changes, refrigerant top-offs without a covered repair, and cosmetic cabinets are not substitutes for proper maintenance and are often excluded.
Interior plumbing failures can waste water, damage finishes, and interrupt daily living. EnsaGuard plumbing coverage focuses on accessible water, drain, and waste lines within the home, plus listed valves, faucets, and toilet mechanisms when they fail from normal wear.
Stoppages may be covered when they occur in accessible lines that serve the dwelling, subject to the number of visits and equipment limits in your contract. Sewer ejector pumps, septic systems, and landscaping irrigation are commonly excluded unless an add-on says otherwise.
Electrical protection addresses failures of listed panels, breakers, interior wiring, switches, and fixtures that no longer operate as designed. EnsaGuard reviews whether the failure is mechanical or the result of overload, improper alteration, or code upgrades—which are typically the member’s responsibility.
Whole-home rewiring, solar equipment, and low-voltage entertainment wiring generally sit outside standard plans. Members receive a written explanation whenever a claim is limited to a specific component rather than a full system upgrade.
Complete and Premier plans can include refrigerators, ranges or ovens, cooktops, dishwashers, built-in microwaves, clothes washers, and dryers. Coverage is for mechanical and electrical failures of the appliance itself, not for food spoilage, racks, knobs, or cosmetic enamel.
If a covered sealed system or control board fails and repair exceeds the item limit, EnsaGuard may contribute toward a comparable replacement rather than an endless repair cycle. Installation of the new unit is handled according to the contract’s replacement rules.
Tank and tankless water heaters are among the most frequently claimed items. Coverage can include heating elements, gas control valves, thermostats, and, when listed, the tank itself after a leak caused by wear. Expansion tanks, solar heaters, and commercial-capacity units need a specific rider.
Members should drain sediment as recommended by the manufacturer. Lack of maintenance can affect claim outcomes when failure is tied to sludge buildup rather than a sudden mechanical defect.
Premier members may add a roof-leak repair rider that contributes toward repairing leaks in the roof covering over occupied living space. It is not a full roof replacement policy and does not cover decks, patios, or leaks caused by storms that belong on a property insurance claim.
A qualified roofer locates the leak path. EnsaGuard then reviews whether the cause is wear of covered roofing materials versus excluded weather events or missing flashing from a prior remodel.
